The December 1997 IAEA Bulletin edition looks into nuclear security and safeguards. The focus is on the physical protection of nuclear material, safeguardsÕ verification of non-proliferation commitments, strengthened safeguards, and the IAEAÕs Symposium on International Safeguards in October 1997.
