The IAEA supports countries in creating an enabling environment, adequate infrastructure, especially human capacity building to facilitate the safe and secure introduction or expansion of nuclear power, including SMRs. This side-event focuses on experiences of the joint efforts of the IAEA, donors and event hosting countries, as well as TC recipient countries that are new or embarking, or expanding their nuclear energy use.
