Onkalo – A Solution for Nuclear Waste
Finland is investing in nuclear solutions to the climate crisis, including long-term ways to manage its nuclear waste. This deep disposal site at Onkalo, Finland is a game changer for the future of low-carbon nuclear energy. It was visited in November by Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
